Some changes were made to the gamemode in order to balance the gameplay and optimize the client and server.
Gameplay Changes
- Barrels stats were modified to balance out the weapon changes.
- Max HP increased from 5 -> 100, similar to the humans.
- Explosion starting range reduced from 90 -> 75.
- Explosion ending range reduced from 140 -> 125.
- Explosion power charge per tick reduced from 0.35 -> 0.25.
- Explosion power when killed by human reduces from 5% -> 15%.
- Weapons no longer do 100 damage, no longer have 1 bullet per clip per reload, bullet cone has been modified too.
- Pistol clipsize increased from 1 -> 8
- Pistol shoot delay increased from 0.11 -> 0.13
- Pistol damage decreased from 100 -> 50
- Pistol cone min/max altered from 0.02/0.08 -> 0.02/0.09
- SMG clipsize increased from 1 -> 20
- SMG shoot delay increased from 0.1 -> 0.125
- SMG damage decreased from 100 -> 25
- SMG cone min/max altered from 0.02/0.08 -> 0.03/0.09
- Magnum clipsize increased from 2 -> 6
- Magnum bullet ricochet increased from 5 -> 6
- Magnum shoot delay increased from 0.25 -> 1.5
- Magnum cone min/max altered from 0.02/0.08 -> 0.05/0.125
- Amount of Starting Barrels vs Humans reduced from 10 -> 8 humans for 1 barrel.
- Last Human Weapon is now given when there is more than 5 barrels in the team.
- Last Human Weapon is announced when given.
Visual Changes
- Barrels HUD now shows their health.
- Barrels to Human outline is no longer halo glow, it is now a complete material render color based on their health.
Optimization Changes
- Halo to full white material render to replace human outline for increased performance.
- End Rounds no longer cleans up the map in order to reduce timeout hangs.
- Barrels no longer re-randomize on every round in order to reduce timeout hangs.
